A great way to get the layouts seen which of course feature the kits is to participate in the Praise thread at Digishoptalk. Lots of times the layouts get lost because so many have posted theirs also so you will get more people to see it this way.
This is the guidelines for the Praise thread fround under Chatter in the main forum.
Post your layout in the gallery. Post a link to your layout in this thread. Then visit the layout of the person who posted above you in the thread and leave praise for them!
If you have time, leave praise for everyone that is on the same page as you. There's no such thing as too much praise so if you want to leave praise for more people, even better! Have fun and remember - appreciate all the praise you receive and give all the praise you can!
Not only will the kit get seen but so will your hard work.
If you have a blog you can also post your layouts there! I will be doing this to feature your work too on my blog.
